Still only in her mid-20s, gorgeous (mostly) blonde Nadine was just 15 when she won a place in a girl band called Six on the Irish version of Popstars. Cue furore when the truth came out and the poor young thing was binned for lying on her application form... but it was to our good fortune as by 2002 she'd won the UK version of the show and was a member of Girls Aloud. Some say she has the five-piece's best set of pipes - so she'll be pretty annoyed that bandmate Cheryl got to a successful solo career before her. Long before her. But never mind Nadine, we're happy to watch you try.
