  Why we love Leona Lewis

  Amidst the comedy fatties, the bleached-blonde no-hopers and the just-widowed weepers, X-Factordoes occasionally throw up a gem. The addictive telly show got it bang on in 2006 when Islington girl Leona Lewis rocked the judges with a set of pipes so perfect she was destined for greatness – which is exactly what followed with a string of hits and the fastest-selling download of 2007. All she needs now is a bigger mantelpiece: with awards from MTV, the MOBOs and countless more, that visit to B&Q has never looked more imminent.
  You’d have to have a heart made of shitty old cement from Chernobyl to not find Bleeding Love a good song, and it made Leona Lewis a mega star, which is good, because she seems like a nice person. Keeps herself to herself, comes out, does stunning performance goes home to her not over the top house.
