  Why we love Kara Tointon

  Kara Tointon. Heard that name before? Nope? Well you should have by now, but okay. How about Dawn Swann? There you go. Tointon played Swann for four years in Eastenders, single-handedly keeping warm blooded males interested in the tawdry soap. Because let’s face it, Mo Slater ain’t what she was. But Essex-girl Tointon has come a long way since she was first fed to Peggy Mitchell and the other destroyers of hope and good will on Albert Square. She proved herself to be good on her feet with a victorious appearance on Strictly Come Dancing for Sport Relief, plus with a celebratory appearance on the cover of FHM’s August 2009 issue behind her, you’d think she’d take some stopping in her mission to take over the world. Strictly + FHM = yes. We all know that. In fact Kara knows it so well that it was announced in September that she would be taking part in the 2010 series of Strictly.
  You might well have also noticed Miss Kara Tointon modelling lingerie for George – which was another very good career move. Boxes being ticked Tointon. The only thing that seems to be slowing her down is her dyslexia, which makes it difficult for her to read and learn lines for auditions.
